Key Ingredients
SPF30 with UVA protection filters both UVB and UVA rays - the two types of sun radiation that reach your skin. UVB rays are shorter and mostly hit the skin's surface — they're the ones responsible for sunburn and pigmentation.
UVA rays penetrate much deeper, where they break down collagen and elastin - the proteins that keep skin firm and bouncy. This is why UVA is often called the "ageing ray": it's responsible for the majority of photoageing, even on cloudy days and through glass, since UVA rays aren't blocked by clouds or windows the way UVB rays partly are.
Up to 80% of visible skin ageing is caused by sun exposure - wrinkles, sagging and pigment spots included, and UVA is the main culprit behind it.

CITYSTEM® is a patented anti-pollution complex extracted from Marrubium vulgare (white horehound). Tocopherol is a naturally occurring form of vitamin E. Vitamin E is an important antioxidant in the skin that counteracts oxidative stress caused by the many environmental, chemical and physical factors that the skin is exposed to every day.
